You get a great workout in 10 minutes! And if you really like pain and don't have the resistant band, do the workout with 1, 3, or 5 lb weights in each hand. You always have 10 minutes you can squeeze in your day once or twice/day. I like how each exercise is 1 minute long so even if you're getting tired, you know that workout move is about to be over soon and you're going on to different move.

My wife and I have been using the 10 minute trainers for awhile now. We really enjoy the fact that each video is broken down into 10 exercises, each only 1 minute long. It helps us push through: "come on, it's ONLY ONE minute!" The videos can push you, but you don't feel "forced" to over-exert yourself.

Also, with the series being "modular" as it is, we are able to customize our daily workout routine. For example, On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I do Total Body once, and the Cardio twice. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I do the Lower Body, ABS, and Yoga Flex. On Saturdays, I do the Total Body, Cardio, and Yoga Flex. I take Sundays off.

My wife has her own routine with the videos. It's nice, because you're not committed to a whole 45 minute workout video. if you want to work a specific area more, you can just do that particular video twice.

Don't be deceived by the title, if you are actually serious about getting back into shape you will stack the workouts to make at least a 20-30 minute exercise session. I bore easily and don't like endless reps and sets of exercises so the fact the workouts are in 10 minute increments works for me. Plus during the 10 minutes Tony has you changing the exercises so you aren't bored. I also figure it's kind of a version of the muscle confusion technique from Tony's P90X DVD set, but an easier version for us whimps and couch potatos that aren't going to start with P90X. My grandparents worked their farm into their 90's and were in great shape until they passed and never had any major illnesses. My Dad is going to be 98 and still walks every morning so no excuses! You have the option of doing the exercises with a trainer track or "normal" without it. I also like that there is a well rounded program addressing upper, lower, abs, cardio, and flexibility (yoga).
